The WSET Level 1 is for wine consumers looking for challenging wine classes and wanting to know more about the main grape varieties and food and wine pairings.
WSET Level 2 Award in Wines: Austin
Schedule: 6 weeks, 3 hours per week
The WSET Level 2 Award in Wines and Spirits Wine Education Class provides vocational training in the broad range of alcoholic beverages to underpin job skills and competencies in the customer service and sales functions of the hospitality, retail and wholesale industries. Wine enthusiasts who wish to acquire in-depth knowledge of wines and spirits and want to obtain an internationally recognized wine qualification.
Upon passing the final exam, students will receive a certificate and pin for their achievement. Should any student fail, they may retake the exam for $125.
The WSET recommends that students complete at least 11 hours of personal study outside the classroom hours for this course. For more information on course content, please see the course specification here.
