Grand Cru Bordeaux Evening

About this Class

On Wednesday, October 11, from 6-9 pm, we have the privilege to host these distinguished guests, along with Master Sommelier Jack Mason, for an in depth class and tasting experience for wines from all three of these iconic estates. The opportunity to taste historical vintages from even one of these special estates would be exciting, but it’s truly unprecedented to be able to enjoy and learn about these wines from representatives and directors of three of Bordeaux‘s top estates. Beausejour-Becot and Montrose are both established icons, and Les Carmes Haut-Brion is the newly crowned golden child of Pessac-Léognan, having received a perfect 100 Point score for their 2022 release. It was also the most affordable wine in the 2022 En Primeur to achieve that honor.

During this guided tasting, three vintages of the Grand Vin from each winery will be poured, along with one vintage of their second label. We will have the rare opportunity to compare and discuss various Bordeaux vintages with the wines in front of us, as well as learn about the history of each respective estate, their winemaking practices, terroir, and much more. The wines that will be poured for the evening are the following.

Estimated Combined Retail Value of the wine being shown is over $2,000!
