This class will cover all the bases on the differences between Sparkling Wine and Champagne, focusing on how sparkling wine is made and how the styles vary by region.

South America is so interesting and varied, yet many of us overlook it when it comes to wine. With its growing presence, wines from South America are not just a great value for money, but many are also premium quality. The two South American powers are Argentina and Chile. We will show that these two countries make a variety of great wines outside of their marquee Malbec & Cabernet Sauvignon. We will look at the similarities and differences between the regions, history, soil, aspect, climate, grapes and wine making to get an overview.
