WSET Diploma Unit Two — Wine Business ONLINE
Cost – $525
What you’ll learn
Students will learn how supply and demand impact the price of wine, how the costs associated with producing the wine contribute to the price of wine, and how legislation and exchange rates impact the price of wines, as well as how to mitigate the impact. Students will further learn about the different business types engaged in the production of wine, options for getting wine to the final point of sale, and marketing considerations.
The Online D2 course matches students with an educator based out of London in a Canvas classroom. The educator engages with students in that platform, but there is no lecture or video component.
The exam is a one-hour open response exam. The D2 exam must be sat concurrent with or following the D1 exam, before moving on to the other units. The exam must be taken in person at our Houston location. Exams are offered only a few times per year, and advanced registration is required.
Students must be registered for the Diploma program, and have registered for Unit 1 (or taken the Unit 1 Exam) before starting Unit 2.
The Diploma is only offered in English. The Texas Wine School is not equipped to provide support for students who do not speak English fluently.
Students with special educational needs or disabilities should reach out to [email protected] with requests for accommodations.
For more details and specific learning objectives for the course, review the Course Specification.
