NOTE: This class appears on the calendar on the registration deadline. Students will receive course login information roughly a week after the registration deadline. There are no specific times that students need to log in, but rather it allows the students to engage with the course material as their time and schedule allow. 

The WSET Level 2 Award in Spirits is designed for industry professionals and beginners to gain knowledge of the world’s classic spirits and spirit production methods. The online study option matches students with an educator and provides full access to course readings, as well as additional online quizzes, exam practice exercises, and projects to help students prepare for the final exam.

WSET recommends a minimum of 26 total study hours, 11 of which should be independent study, in preparation for the exam. For more information on course content please consult the course specification here.

The exam is administered in person at the Texas Wine School or a satellite location. Students may take the exam online for a $35 fee. Students may also resit the exam for $125. This is an excellent option for students who are unable to attend class and learners who prefer to work at their own pace.
