South America is so interesting and varied, yet many of us overlook it when it comes to wine. South American wines offer exceptional value and quality.

With its growing presence, wines from South America are not just a great value for money, but many are also premium quality. The two South American powers are Argentina and Chile. We show that these two countries make a variety of great wines outside of their marquee Malbec & Cabernet Sauvignon. We look at the similarities and differences between the regions, history, soil, aspect, climate, grapes, and wine making to get an overview.
