The WSET Level 1 wine education class will introduce students, at a basic level, to the main styles of wine available, wine storage, and food and wine pairings.
The WSET Level 2 Award in Wines provides vocational training in the broad range of alcoholic beverages to underpin job skills and competencies in the customer service and sales functions of the hospitality, retail, and wholesale industries. Wine enthusiasts who wish to acquire in-depth knowledge of wines and want to obtain an internationally recognized wine qualification should consider this course!
WSET recommends a minimum of 28 hours of preparation, 11 of which should be independent study, to be successful in this course.
Upon passing the exam students will receive a certificate and pin for their achievement. Any student needing to retake the exam may do so for a $150 fee.
