The Texas Wine School offers several levels of classes.

Certification Courses

WSET Certification

The Wine & Spirit Education Trust is the certification that teaches you everything you need to know about wine. It is the generalist certification that starts at the Foundation Level and goes all the way to Advanced.  Students have the opportunity of earning a WSET diploma.

Other Certifications

French Wine Scholar, Rhone Master Level, and Italian Wine Specialist are the certifications that teach you about France and Italy in much greater detail than the WSET, or any generalist certification can.

Non-Certification Classes

Non-Certification Courses and Classes are open to everyone with a desire to learn more about wine in an informal format. The Texas Wine School offers two types of classes:

Wine Foundation Courses

Wine Foundation Courses are for students who want to to take their learning to the next level. These courses are the opportunity to delve into a topic more thoroughly than a single session. Each course is covered in three classes, two hours per class.

Wine Tasting Classes

The Texas Wine School’s Wine Tasting Classes are for the beginner, the enthusiast and the connoisseur in all of us. All Wine Tasting Classes meet once for 2 hours.
